Our remote product management workshops take place over two consecutive half-days. This means you can focus all of your time and energy into concentrated sessions of product learning with full access to our tried-and-tested curriculums, expert trainers, and a community of product peers. We limit our workshops to just 8 people which establishes an open exchange of experiences and ideas from both trainers and participants, in a setting that feels like a group coaching session.
Each day will include live online lectures interspersed with regular discussion, Q&As, and group activities to encourage hands-on learning. We’ll use Zoom as our virtual classroom and Mural boards for collaboration and interactive activities.
In order to continue offering product management training in a safe environment, we have converted our existing in-person workshops into a new interactive, remote workshop format. We have been successfully running remote workshops since April and have been overwhelmed by the positive feedback!
It is likely that we will bring in-person training workshops back in the future however remote workshops are here to stay – we love the small class sizes and being able to reach our community across the world!
Our remote workshop classes are small and intimate – our biggest classes have no more than 15 attendees. Our attendees have found that a wide range of diverse perspectives and backgrounds is extremely valuable to the learning experience so we accept a maximum of three attendees from one company
If you would like to train more than three people at one time, we also offer training for your whole team.
As we are a small team we only offer payment by invoice if you are buying 5 tickets or more due to the additional overhead. Please note the following:
Please send requests to pay by invoice to support@mindtheproduct.com.
One week before the workshop
Two days before the workshop
If you do not receive any of the above, please email support@mindtheproduct.com
No problem. You will receive the relevant information from us within 24 hours of booking. Please email support@mindtheproduct.comif you do not receive this information.
On the day of your workshop, we will gather 10 minutes before to allow time for everyone to log in and troubleshoot any technical issues. If on the morning of the workshop you find that you are not able to connect to the platforms, please email support@mindtheproduct.com and we will be on hand to assist you.
Pre-work is a short activity we ask you to complete before your workshop, to get you into the headspace of the workshop content. Depending on your workshop this may consist of reflection exercises, videos, or reading materials.
One week before the workshop.
Pre-work will take approximately 30 minutes.
As this is a live, interactive workshop the value is in the live experience, therefore the workshop will not be recorded. This also allows for more open discussion around your current product challenges, as you may not want those to be recorded. You will receive a PDF of the slide deck and a resource guide after the session along with a PDF version of the Mural boards.
Most of the workshop activity will take place in Zoom. You will also participate in exercises on Mural. We recommend having the Mural tab open but in the background until you need to access it. Two monitors can be helpful but not necessary. If you are able to have a 2-monitor setup then we recommend dedicating one monitor to the presentation and the other to your Mural board.
Thanks to the intimate workshop size, most discussions will take place as a whole class. Some trainers may choose to use breakouts – we leave it up to the trainer to decide.
You will receive an email within two working days of your workshop containing your collaborative Mural board in PDF form and workshop slides.
Yes, but only the person who purchased the ticket can make these changes on Eventbrite. You are free to change your ticket details up to two days before the event, including name, title, etc. Please make sure these details are correct as they will be what we show on your online event profile and/or in-person badge! Just login to Eventbrite and make the changes, following these instructions. If you can’t reach the person who purchased the ticket in order to get them to change the information please contact us on support@mindtheproduct.com and we will help you make the updates.
If you need to cancel your ticket, you must log in to Eventbrite and request a refund at least two weeks before the date of the event, following these instructions. No refunds will be issued for tickets that are cancelled less than two weeks before the event. Only the person who purchased the tickets can request a refund.
You can request a workshop transfer up to two weeks before the date of the event by emailing support@mindtheproduct.com. We cannot facilitate any requests made after the two week cut off. Our small class size is an essential part of the workshop experience and we often sell out well in advance. By transferring you to a future workshop closer to the date of the event, it is unlikely we will be able to resell your space and ultimately we lose out on a ticket sale for future events by giving you that space.
